Luka Cruysberghs (born 15 December 2000) is a singer and songwriter hailing from Leuven, Belgium. She’s primarily known from The Voice, where she walked away with the title in 2017. After her win, Luka became the lead vocalist of Belgian band Hooverphonic from the beginning of 2018 until the end of 2020.
Her time as the singer for Hooverphonic helped her gain experience on and off stage, but most definitely also inspired her for her solo career. The newfound confidence translates in a wide range of songs with her haunting voice as the most important junction between all the singles.
In September of last year, Luka took her faith into her own hands and released her debut single ‘Not Too Late’ as an independent artist. Surrounded by a young team of creatives, the single immediately gained attraction from radio stations and underlined her new musical direction.
2022 will be important for Luka. Her first EP will see the daylight later this year and the first shows are being lined up. Luka is on the eve of her big breakthrough as a solo performer and is ready to show everyone a different side of her artistry.
