Sitse Brems – alias Sitse – is a singer/songwriter from Leuven who started making music at the age of 10. In 2017 he made it to the third live show of the world’s biggest singing competition ‘The Voice’, on national television in Belgium.
After ‘The Voice’, Sitse took some time off to build up his little home studio and find out what style of music he wanted to put out in the future. Therefore he found his inspiration in artist as Bon Iver, John Mayer and London Grammer. In 2019 he stepped back into the spotlights with his first solo release ‘Taken by the Tide’, a single that got described as a single from professional level, which was a fresh start for Sitse’s career. We would describe his musical style as modern indie pop, with a touch of smooth electronica.
In the meantime Sitse spent a lot of time in the studio with names as Luka Cruysberghs (Hooverphonic) and producers Koenraad Foesters & Pieter-Jan Decraene (Studio Jupiter). 2020 is supposed to be a big starting year for Sitse, with a lot of new music coming up, accompanied by an amazing visual campaign.
